My feet is also dry during winter and I
usually have cracked heels. I used to soak my feet in warm water with some mild
soap or foot soak. I like peppermint soak for my feet because it makes me relax
and refresh. I also scrub my feet with loofah or brush to remove the dead cells
and wash it again. Applying some lotion makes your feet soft, hydrated and smooth.

i would want baby soft feet, but i think i develop calluses so it's easier to wear more challenging pairs of shoes.

heel cracking is NOT acceptable, but thick skin helps keep me pain-free.

I've never seen this brand- thanks for the tip! I have found that Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion works well for me on my body and hands in the winter. I also think it smells good. I often get comments that I smell like cookies or vanilla, etc.

More specifically, a product for rough, cracked heels.

http://www.amlactin.com/amlactin-foot-cream.html

I have to share this with you because I'm sure I'm not the only one here with this problem. Every winter I am plagued by dry skin. My fingertips develop painful cracks and my heels become dry and cracked.

This year I tried AmLactin Foot Cream Therapy with fantastic results. It's thicker than the regular AmLactin lotion, and I've seen such a difference in my feet. My heels are baby smooth and no more snags when putting on my stockings.

I apply this once a day after showering and also use a pumice stone on my heels a few times a week. It has made a huge difference in the condition of my feet.

Cetaphil lotion keeps the rest of my body moisturized throughout the winter.

Hope this helps for those of you who share this problem.. Please feel free to share any other remedies.
