We're going to Turkey this winter and it's quite wet and cold then.</p> <p>I ended up buying a Patagonia Tres which is a 3 in 1 coat. It's a waterproof shell with a hood and a zip out down coat. It can be worn 3 ways - together, or each piece separately. I was also interested in another Patagonia coat that has a synthetic insulated zip out coat. But I found this one in a color I like, and it was on sale.
