Style Fan, I'm not in Montreal anymore... too bad I wasn't aware of this brand till two days ago! I did consider going to stores during my stay (wanted to try La Canadiennes for the first time), but after my toes froze on the 26th after walking for 5 minutes outside I just cocooned myself for the rest of my stay! But everytime I visit the city I'm jealous of all the fashion AND food options that seem to be everywhere there... (not to mention the arts!) I daydream about getting a job there someday, although my husband (who is from Montreal) jokes that I couldn't survive a whole winter there.

I like the second pair. The simplicity of the second pair appeals to me. I have seen this brand IRL. Are you still in Montreal? They are in several stores in downtown Montreal and the Plateau area. I am kicking myself for not trying them on. I would probably have to wear my inserts with them.

Three pairs doesn’t seem like a lot to try on. I like them all, especially the red ones, but if you’re going for an equestrian look, trying to get away from “gear” type looks, then I’d say the tall brown ones with no shearling or laces.

Angie, I agree, this has been a hard choice because I wish I could see what each of them looks like on me and with outfits. I do miss the times when buying shoes meant going into a brick-and-mortar store and trying on a zillion pairs until we found the best fit... (but then again, we had nowhere near the choice we have now...)

The danger with ordering them all is that I might fall in love with all of them and not want to return any

ooooh, I like them too. I would order them ALL in, assess which are most comfy and look best in outfits.

Glad to see I'm not the only one in love with these
Number 3 is the one that caught my heart because of the slightly "folk" vibe of the different materials and panels. But I was concerned about what Chris987 said--if the laces make them less versatile, more "military" perhaps. My second favorites are the first ones, especially because you can fold the rim down or wear it up. The ones in the middle seem to me the most versatile and have very beautiful clean lines, but are not as whimsical. My size doesn't have a lot of color options, but like JAileen I also loved the white ones.
I normally don't obsess soooo much about clothing items (OK, I do, sometimes), but I feel like I didn't do my homework three years ago when I moved to MN and bought my current snow boots, so now I'm covering all my bases. I've been slightly dizzied by the number and variety of brands, models, options, etc...

Looks-wise, I like them all and they seem to be in the same wheel-house.
I think I prefer the subdued colour of 1 and 2 best, and maybe since they are more neutral, they would go with more coats.

2 and 3 have zippers so they should be easy to get on and off. If 3 didn't have a zipper I'd never ever wear it. I looked up 2 and it comes in white which looks kind of cool.

#1 seems the most versatile to me...and I quite like the mixed media thing going on, they seem a little more interesting than #2. Lace up boots to my eye look fairly "tough" so maybe less versatile unless it works with your style.

Wow - I love the first pair, and just put them in my cart I'm really feeling like I need to up my boot game - and these could be the ones. I like the red lace-ups but could not conceive of dealing with that all winter long - hopefully it has a side zip?

I like #1 and #3. #1 is versatile and looks cozy. #3 is a lace up style like the Adirondacks. Lace up styles have their virtues and their frustrations.

Pros:

Can be adjusted for different calf widths and for skirts or pants.

Add a bit of visual interest.

Cons

Can be tricky to get on or off in a hurry and awkward.

Snow can sometimes get inside the boot. (This has not happened with me in the Adirondacks).

Some of you might have seen my post on warm boots for winter. I already ordered two to try (Ugg Adirondacks and Kamik NewYork2). After I ordered them I found a few other beauties, and thanks to Staysfit (thank you ) I learned they might also be warm enough for someone with my issues (Raynaud's). Since I haven't tried anything yet I'm considering adding them to the arsenal of options in case the first two don't fit. The trouble is deciding!

Any thoughts on which model looks more appealing? I love them all. I have a slight favorite but I'm unsure regarding versatility. Price deals vary quite a bit too.
