It’s not a hard black because it’s really just the base of the boot. I have the taller version in black and they wear like iron. My original question was whether to go with black or brown. I would prefer red but haven’t run across a pair I like that fit my feet and budget - my Hewi I suppose.</p> <p>From my original post:<br /> *Brown would bookend-ish my hair and and my ultra warm down coat that comes out less frequently than my other coats. However this winter it has been worn plenty!<br /> *Black/graphite would go with the two winter coats that are worn the most.</p> <p>These are Ugg Adirondacks which are super cozy and actually fit around my legs. The cuff can be worn up or down.</p> <p>I’m afraid the pictures may not offer enough detail for you, but the shots are of both pair, cuffs up and down, with each coat. Looking at the pictures I think I’m partial to the black but they have no feature to connect them to the brown coat. 3style made a comment about the Sundance vibe (which isn’t a goal) in my other thread - which I am kind of feeling with the brown here.
