Just how I like it :)</p> <p>Fun retro sneakers! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/window-shopping-in-freiburg#post-2375346 Sat, 30 Nov 2024 16:15:45 +0000 Carla 2375346@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I’ve decided not to take photos of the usual things one sees when visiting tourist destinations, since someone else has already done it, and better! &nbsp;Delivery drivers, folks going about their routine, and signage all conspire against atmosphere. &nbsp;I’ll buy the postcard as a souvenir and take pictures of the quirky things related to my interests!</p> <p>Since fashion is one of my interests, I’ve snapped some interesting store windows during the morning spent in Freiburg. &nbsp;</p> <p> <div><br /></div><div>#1+2 &nbsp;<em>Gudrun Sjödén&nbsp;</em>storefront<br />#3 a colourful display of shoes - the narrow pedestrian walkway had several (6 or 7) different shoe stores side by side and across from each other! &nbsp;</div><div># 4 a thrift store - clothes sold by weight! </p> <p>PS: it being a weekend, locals were out shopping the markets in their casual urban weekend wear. &nbsp;Temps were just above freezing, so warm coats and puffers were the order of the day. &nbsp;Freiburg (and Breisach) are smaller than Basel. &nbsp;Freiburg is definitely urban, and Breisach about the size of my hometown at a reported 13,500. &nbsp;Saw more colour - teal and mustard seems popular. &nbsp;Also olive and rust/orange. &nbsp;The fellow who lead our tour group wore mustard wide wale corduroys, cognac leather shoes and leather jacket over a Shetland style sweater (multicolours on grey background) and an olive muffler. &nbsp;His hair was longer, but above the shoulders - corkscrew dark golden blonde curls with blue eyes and a strong Roman nose!</p> </div> </p>
