Even if it qualifies as pattern mixing, it's two different scales of pattern which is also a good rule of thumb. Etc, etc - basically I think it looks great, and not at all theme-y. I was relying on the soft neutrals, and the narrow seersucker stripe to not look as though I'm wearing a flag. and the&nbsp; tailored skirt to upgrade the T-shirt.&nbsp; At work is largely covered by lab coat so there is a lot of volume over the tailored silhouette but then for coming and going I would wear this EF cardigan..<br />The AT paper-bag waist skirt has pockets, BTW but I have never unstitched them.<br />Is this something only suitable for July 4th ?! Comments welcome. </p>
