i like how you put it, lpr200. I can feel the low rise and also the thick denim is both a blessing and adds some constricting feel. I can't say I'm always all about comfort, since for very dressy events I struggle with comfort vs. my desire to look a certain way and not finding comfortable versions. But did casual or smart casual outfits, it doesn't seem necessary to sacrifice comfort and forget- about- it feel.

I like the outfit but if it's not "I don't need to think about it" comfortable, I say let them go and find your 100% love jeans

The jeans look great and it is not too easy to find white jeans in a thicker fabric to avoid seeing through the material. However, if they aren't comfortable to wear because of the rise, then they will have to go. My white boyfriend jeans are by Lucky Brand (the Sweet Crop) that I picked up last year and the seem to work well.

Teal and burgundy - this is an outfit that makes my heart sing! And it very much seems to flatter you as far as proportion, etc. Nicely done!

Now moving on to the jeans. Could it be that you don't like the contrast of wearing white with darker colors? I personally rarely feel comfortable in high-contrast items, so that thought crossed my mind.

If the rise is too low to be comfortable, I would vote replacing them. There are so many high rise styles in the stores right now that this would seem an ideal time for you and your long-waisted self to be stocking up on jeans.

Vivian beat me to it -- I use my Hipsi belt for lower-rise and loose-waisted pants, which is really common for me since I so often need to size up for hips. They make some otherwise problematic pants quite wearable.

Have you tried a Hipsi belt? For me, this belt really helps pants stay in place and has just about totally negated the need to "yank up." Still, this may not totally eradicate the exposure problem with a low rise. But if you haven't tried a belt like this, it might be worth it. I love mine and use it every day with my jeans.

Thanks! I have worn cami's for sure and will wear an underlayer for the chillly weather expected. So it's a great idea for " insurance". But, in warmer weather it adds heat.
The EF top shown is longer in back so while it may look a little volume- y with these jeans, it's very "secure" - feeling.

So , yes, it may be I will be happier not always compensating for the low rise.

I think this outfit works, and the jeans look good on you . But....the low rise and constant yank-ing up that goes with that would drive me crazy. Suz's cami suggestion makes a lot of sense though if you are determined to keep the jeans.

They look good on you! The outfit is lovely for transitional weather.

If they are feeling uncomfortably low, how about wearing a cami tucked in? That's what I do and it helps with exposue/ keeps me warm/ allows for semi-tuck.

The look good on, but if they feel too low rise to be comfortable, you should look for a new pair. I have been phasing out too low rise as well.

I still have the Kut Catherine white "BF" jeans which were my first foray into white bottoms. I have not worn them a whole lot, but did enjoy the thick denim which is not show-through and the fit in general, which is more straight than BF on me, and that I could wear full-length or rolled..
The main problem is that they are pretty low-rise on me, making me subject to "exposure" problems in back when I bend or stoop. I can tuck in, but again, very low rise gives a super long torso look when tucked in anyway.I enjoyed some semi-tucking but because of my pear shape, I still need a lot of fullness and length in the shirt in order for it to fall over my backside! Otherwise, even long tops just ride up in back.

We are expecting a cool snap this weekend but otherwise I've got spring fever. So I was trying them with a mix of darker colors also to wear this scarf which I was debating about keep/toss but I have since got the EF teal top and it goes well with it.
Shown with new EF short gray boots--it's hard to tell in photo, but the rolled hem does show a sliver of skin with movement. I need to straighten it out more, though.
What do you think? Too much dark for the white pants? I have some warm tops with more white and I have a paler handbag, but I was trying to make use of the medium-dark colors once more before real spring/summer hits.

So, I will need to decide whether I want to let them go, or make effort to search for a better rise and fit, or keep and wear occasionally. I have decided I'm more of a gray or olive and even black summer pants person--it's just easier for my color palette and footwear options, I think--but white IS fun from time to time.
