I think that I am going to return the shirt. As gorgeous as it is, I'm not someone who wants to take stuff to the cleaners. I don't work in an office (I work at home), so I don't technically need stylish office wear. I normally don't buy anything that I need to take to the cleaners unless I am absolutely in love with it and can wear it many times without laundering (like a dress that I might wear for just a couple of hours a few times a year). I bring a lot of my crisp white shirts, especially those with special collar or cuff details, to the cleaners as they do a great job at pressing. What April says about charging women more for this service is true -- so hold your ground. It is a discriminatory practice. (I am very tall and a larger frame, so my shirts and blouses fit just fine on their presses... but they still try to use this excuse with me. The pleats are very crisp, so I'm guessing that to keep them that way after laundering, I will need to starch and iron. I don't like to iron, and I've never starched anything in my life. I'm not absolutely in love with the shirt--mainly looking at it as a fun turn on a crisp button-down when I need one--so I won't be horribly heartbroken if I return it. </p>
