Its construction is sadomasochistic scuba diving sex magnet. If it's like most wet suits it should have a zip up the back with a dangling zip puller attached.

To me something like this and how the person pulls it off, is at the styling level of the professional cutting edge. Not for the feint hearted- but then you are not feint hearted. If its a flop you can take up scuba diving I guess.

I love the look!

The buttons look like they might be functional, because I can see that there are bound buttonholes. Such an awesome detail! The problem with getting in and out of the jumpsuit with the front buttons only (assuming they do work) is that the opening only goes to the top of the waistband. If the waist is very fitted, you might not be able to get the garment down over the hips. Hence, the zipper in the back, which extends to the bottom of the waistband. If the front buttons worked and you could get in and out of the jumpsuit that way, you could wear it on an occasion which involved some fluid intake ;)!

I'm not sure about the construction but who cares if it takes an hour to get into. It's amazing!!

That is one gorgeous onesie! I am also thinking it's a zip up, not buttons up.
I think this would look amazing on you.

Wow. I LOVE it!

I think everyone is right--buttons are more of a design element and zipper is meant to be functional.

I think the zipper is the functional part as well. The buttons may be functional, but I think it's be easier to use the zippper.

Oooh. This is a good looking romper. And I have to say, I like the price. Hehe. (Have I been watching too much Extreme Coupon-ing?)(Or not enough? )

The zip looks to go all the way to the waist, so I too would assume that's what I'd be fooling with all the time.

The description does make it sound like the front buttons are functional too, though.

I agree that it is a beautiful piece...also I would not be able to wear it out of my home (teensy-bladder syndrome!). I think it would look awesome on you, Anna.

I would say that the front buttons are decorative only and you get in to it by undoing the two little hooks and zip at the back.

I have no idea about construction but I have to say that this piece singlehandedly could convert me to jumpsuits. That is amazing!!!

I also agree that the functional opening is the zipper. But that makes me think you'd really want to limit your fluid intake while wearing it.

The text describing it (under Details) just adds to the confusion.

I can't tell for sure (so hard to see details on black!) but I suspect the back zip is the functional opening. The buttons seem to be more of a design element. What I can't tell is if they are functional at all. In some ways, a fake button placket is better because it sits better, doesn't gape, etc.

I really like it, by the way. It's like a grown up romper.

Perhaps one of our sewers can explain it to me.

http://www.net-a-porter.com/am.....-WNProduct

It has buttons on the front AND a zipper in the back with a hook and eye. Would you need to undo and redo everything to get it on and off?
