Such an awesome detail! The problem with getting in and out of the jumpsuit with the front buttons only (assuming they do work) is that the opening only goes to the top of the waistband. If the waist is very fitted, you might not be able to get the garment down over the hips. Hence, the zipper in the back, which extends to the bottom of the waistband.
