Animal print is a modern classic that happens to be on trend. No chance of it looking dated. You may be sick of it at some point - but it has a high longevity factor nonetheless.

I am loving the leopard print trend! I have discovered, for example, that my leopard calfhair belt goes with almost any color I wear it with - turquoise, bright pink, burgundy, cobalt. .. And I recently scored a pair of leopard smoking slippers on clearance at Target for eight bucks.

I think I need one or two printed toppers for the fall/winter; all I have are solids. I saw a pretty sweater at the Rack this week, kind of a boyfriend cardigan. It came in several solids, and LEOPARD. I loved it, but I'm wondering if it will be wearable for a few years, or will leopard start to look dated soon, at least such a big dose of it? (A long sweater all in leopard, as opposed to a skinny belt or pair of shoes.)

It's not that expensive, so I should probably just buy it, but I'm curious what you think the longevity of animal prints will be.
