I tried it on in store and passed at full price, but I thought it would be a good skirt for travel in cooler weather (ie not over 100 degrees as I'm currently having). When it went on a big sale last month, I purchased it.&nbsp;</p> <p>I have a different shape than yours. I'd call myself an IT with apple tendencies, and taller. As Janet says, the skirt is not a dramatic lantern, which may help it to work for many.&nbsp;</p> <p>I machine washed it just yesterday. It says you can machine wash or dry clean. I hang almost everything, but when I went to hang it up, it reached to nearly my ankles. So I threw it in the dryer for a bit and let it hang dry the rest of the way. That's a long way of saying, I am not sure how tall you are, but if you are petite this may be longer than midi on you.
