So many yes votes confirm my growing feeling that I do want to keep this outfit and wear it very soon!<br />Naysayers: thank you too for your honest opinions. You are probably right about the print being too large for me and the top a little oversize too, but you made me realize that despite (or perhaps even because of) those things I'm falling a bit in love with this outfit. And considering the small pricetag, I'll give in to that feeling. I took it off the rack because I kinda liked the bold print and swooshie fabric. When I tried it on, I thought it looked like pyamas. My friend did like them and so convinced me to look at the outfit with different eyes. I do think this style is an acquired taste, or at least for me. And they are pretty far removed from my moniker. Except that I also have a rebellious streak that manifests itself mainly in adopting fringe trends. You say seventies, I’m reminded of my mom’s outfits in the early nineties with large patterns and roomy silhouettes. I hated those then :-D. So yeah, I don’t know.<br /> It was a cheap ensemble on discount that would serve a specific purpose: trouser based party (family gathering) attire. Would make a statement without accessories.
