I went to Nordstrom in Chicago and had no luck. They brought 4 pair for me to try and we started with the one the salesperson said was the most generous, an Ecco pair, and they did not even close. So no luck finding them in a store.</p> <p>I went the Duo Boots route and ordered them a few days ago. I have been looking for a pair of real leather, cognac boots, in a 17" calf (extra wide calf) for less thsan $200, and finally found my holey grail. I would just go in and ask your salesperson to bring out anything/everything that might suit your needs and then try everything on! I prefer real leather and cognac color is a must.</p> <p>I had chosen the Duo Gravina boots but now they are sold out in my size and their website says they are not going to receive any more, I am so bummed. Ziller is another option but I am not sure about the buckles around the calf drawing more attention to my plump calves.</p> <p>I checked widewidths.com but did not see anything that struck my fancy, not a lot available in the cognac color there.</p> <p>I will be in the USA to shop next week - in Chicago - and plan on going to Nordstrom.
