Thus was my first paycheck in a long time that didn't go ENTIRELY towards Bill's, and I wasn't thrilled to have to order PRACTICAL stuff, but I'll be glad for these things when they arrive. </p> <p>First order, my CBD. I've been out for weeks, and I can spot the differences in my chronic pain levels, my attitude, and my anxiety levels. Not very exciting, but definitely very appreciated order.</p> <p>Next up, I had a friend order me some wire free bras using his Amazon prime 2 day shipping. These were pretty much all for work; next week, I will allow myself ONE pretty one from Nordstrom for not-work days, and I'll be leaning hard on the recommendations I got in my post about wireless bras. The wacoal in the order I just placed is for not-work as well, but the other 3 are for work. </p> <p>My final order this paycheck was sneakers. For work. Which is SO not where I want to spend my shoe money. Shoes for work aren't sexy. I was able to dig around in 6pm's clearance closet and find some that are at least cool looking, which made it hurt a little less. I spent less than $60 on the sneakers, which also helped ease the sting of having to spend money on shoes for work. My next mission is to find another pair of fabric Twisted X shoes like the ones on my feet in the final pic, but on sale because I can't justify spending that kind of cash on a pair of shoes that is just going to look like a produce stand threw up on them within a few hours of first wear. These twisted x shoes aren't necessarily my usual thing, but they're fabric so they're great for summer; and they're made well enough that they're holding up to the abuse at the produce stand rather well.</p> <p>Janet, thank you for helping me focus on the practical. Even though these purchases aren't exciting, they will bring me comfort once they arrive. My bra and work shoe situation was getting dire LOL</p> <p>Thanks for reading my drivel, any comments are always appreciated. </p>
