In brick &amp; mortar stores I now usually take 3 sizes into dressing room! So, online is a real challenge. -I am often ordering 2 sizes which is s pain for credit card churn and also takes more items out of circulation for other customers ( I don't lose sleep over that , but still). However if I get only I've size and it ALMOST fits, or might have tailoring potential, I like to try the next size before making a final k/r decision. I was *sure* it wouldn't work and besides the dress was no longer on sale. Well, it went on sale again for an even better price so I ordered it again in a smaller size than I ever wear. Pics 1 and 2 (wine clogs and tights) are of the new smaller dress. Pics 3 and 4 (black tights and monk strap shoes) are of the larger dress that I returned.</p> <p>Lesson: I may need to size down on straight cut shirtdresses so they don't look like nightshirts on me. I also had to do this on a linen Angie Pick this past summer. </p>
