That plum colour is really wonderful! 10 lbs is quite a change. Things will fit different. Gosh, because I'm on a size cusp, 5 lbs can change things for me. That's 3 McDs breakfasts in a week, lol.

Congratuations on your weight loss! I agree with you, as your body changes you will have to keep reassessing what's in your closet and how it works for you. But it is exciting to see changes when you've put in so much effort!

I really like the drapey gray tank and can completely see that working with your style.

Love the boots and the drape-neck top! I like the burgundy stuff from Athleta, too -- I love their gear but I wish more of it was colors other than black, navy and gray.

Good job. I always thought you were taller than me, but I have 5 inches on you. I like Athleta, too. They do a good job of catering to people of different heights.

I love your new Athleta gear - it should make working out much more fun. Congratulations on your new fitness regime. It's not surprising that your that your style will need to change to suit your changed body But much more important, is that you are doing the right thing for yourself.

Suz - Gap bought Athleta in 2008 or so and I'm not sure they ever ramped up their volume of production. In a way, Athleta competes with the Gap and Old Navy fitness clothing so I'm not sure what their strategy is.

I love your new workout wear. Burgundy! Wow. In Canada we don't have Athleta and I feel we miss out on quite a lot. I'm not sure why the parent company does not offer it here -- are Canadians considered just a bunch of hard working or bargain hunting or normcore couch potatoes? We have GAP, Banana, and Old Navy. Why not Athleta?

Rant aside, those look like great boots, too.

And congrats on the fitness program. And the closet edit. You are absolutely right that when body shape changes a bit it can be disconcerting, even when the changes are desired ones. And as your body changes, the clothes that look good on you will definitely change. Hope you have fun with the transition.

I returned the Vince hoody in M (keeping the small) today and decided to look at some workout gear. I found a few nice things at Athleta and the Rack. Also found a great pair of boots. The bottoms are flexible, which really helps with comfort.
Two months ago, I started doing a weight loss fitness plan. I really appreciate that my body is doing the things I'm asking of it. I've lost 10 lbs, which should show on my 4'11 frame. My workouts are causing me to spend a lot of time in front of mirrors. I started to feel like I look worse. Then I realized that some things that looked good on that body will look bad on this one. I'm following Momo's lead and doing a big edit.
