I actually didn't mind them on you at all, but if you're not attached, you should absolutely pass on them. No point in keeping something you don't love!

I actually like them better than any one else here I think.

I like the shape and the look of the fabric and the drape. It's the print that's holding me back as I'm not a fan of acid wash.* But they're not too acid-y so I kind of like them at the same time.

*I have very few "poison eye" points but acid wash is one of them… didn't like it in the 80s/90s, don't like it now.

Thanks ladies. They are in the bag ready to be returned:) I do appreciate your input. I like the idea of these but I don't think these are the right ones for me. Seeing the blue in the pictures makes me realise they are too blue for me.

I am not loving the coloring and marbling, I think there are more fab items for your fashion dollar.

Thanks for our input ladies. I am in two minds myself over these and have not attachment to keeping them whatsoever Given they are returnable, I thought it would be fun to bring them home and have a play.

I like everything about these (and similar that have been posted) except the elastic ankle band. But, I don't even like that in plain old garden variety sweat pants either. There's just something too juvenile about elasticized ankles. I.e., it's what toddlers running around the playground wear. If you removed the elastic and hemmed these (tapering to get the fit), then it'd be fine.

Hm, I'm going to be the spanner here and say I like them. They don't read as denim to me, though. They look like fun, slightly slouchy cobalt pants with marbling. I think they mix marvelously with black, and are great for relaxing and errands. Trying to look at them and interpret them as denim is the issue, IMO, because when you give that up, they look like nice bright blue pants. If you are seeking sweat pant/pajama DENIM, however, these are not your pants.

I'm not crazy about them. I think you'll find something better. It's more the color than the fit that bothers me. Actual slouchy denim might be better, or a uniform color. Of course color can be off in photos.

Hmmmm Deb - I'm not sure. I don't mind the fit although I wish they were a tiny bit slouchier but I know we all have our own slouch sweet spot.

It's the color that's giving me pause. I adore you in shades of blue, cobalt in particular, but the color coupled with marbling effect is throwing me off a bit.

Happy Sunday!

Following yesterday's post re pajama jeans, I went back to the store this morning to try the pair on again. Upon second look, they were awful. More the not so good "mom jeans" so passed on those. What I didn't notice yesterday were these "Slim Slouch Pants". They are effectively sweatpants wth the jeans look printed onto them. I sized down a size as my size was just too roomy and too much slouch and extra fabric on the tummy and legs.

They are no where near as cool as the rag and bone ones, but I thought they might pass muster for weekend and home wear. You know, comfortable but you look "dressed". These would go do grocery shopping, errands on the weekend be ok if someone popped in for a cuppa... that kind of thing.

They are dark wash, and Im not sure how to refer to the print... maybe marbled? They bring back the 80's to my mind at any rate

These are not styled. Just threw on a drape top (I would actually wear something a little lower over my tummy ((:)) and tried some different footwear and rolled and unrolled the pants.

What do you think? Yes or yuck? They are returnable.

Thanks for taking a look. I value your opinions.

xxx Deborah
