Our weather has been terrible --- too warm for winter, and I've been completely uninspired regarding outfits. </p> <p>I needed a little 'cheering', so I went shopping today. I have mentioned earlier that while black is my favourite colour, I don't own a black leather or even faux-leather jacket. Today I wanted to pick up a lightweight jacket I can still enjoy wearing in our super-mild winter....something that looked good both open and closed. I did find one....I like it a lot. It's part faux leather and part suede-like fabric. I think it may be mixed media. It'll be particularly great on dresses and skirts. </p> <p>I also picked up black tall boots. My current tall black boots are suede...and I really wanted something in leather. Liked these ones, so they came home with me too. </p> <p>I hope these 2 new additions will shake things up for me and my winter style. </p> <p>On the other hand, I have been happy wearing cropped jeans with slip on sneakers (Pic #1). It's a new silhouette for me...and I think it's in line with my style goal to create smart casual outfits I feel comfortable wearing. </p> <p>Would love to hear your thoughts!
