IKWYM about Tahari jackets -- they usually fit me well too, but I have a few from several years back that I rarely ever wear because they are a little too dressy/officey for where I am now. The heel is the easiest thing to fix, I think. 3 options. I have never used body glide, so that may be a 4th. If you don't have a shoe stretcher, a cobbler can do it for you, just focusing on the part that's the issue. Second option is to use one of stickable pad inserts in the heel. These provide cushion so the top of the shoe heel doesn't rub against your skin. Third option is to slip in a removable Dr Scholl's heel insert.
