I've worn the new ones two days now, and they are very comfortable. I've had the Natori Feathers (very pretty, but not the best fit on me), and the Jacquard, Hidden Glamour, and Understated T-Shirt bras before. They have worked pretty well for me, but I like the fit and fabric of the Betsey Johnson even better. (I got the same size that I took in the Natori bras.) The fabric is really soft and smooth, and the back pieces are a nice width, in thick enough fabric that they seem to minimize any back-flab situation. <br />I considered getting some Commando undies, as they are on sale. They are really nice, if you want absolutely no VPL. The sale price is still a little steep for me, so I went with Hanky Panky, another of my faves. The DKNY lace undies I like are also on sale. Most of these actually came home with me, with exceptions noted. </p> <p><b>Undergarments</b>. I was just as excited about these as anything else this year. Replenished undies and got some new bras. I'm really happy with the Betsey Johnson bras, which I like even better than the Natori ones I had bought in the past. Bonus: they are quite a bit less expensive! Also added some of the camis and tanks that I like. </p> <p><b>Beauty stuff</b>. Picked up some nail polish and remover, plus shower gel by Molton Brown, a favorite treat. I'm a sucker for new nail polish and am already wearing one of the colors on my toenails!</p> <p><b>Sweaters</b>. I decided to add some long cardis, as I really liked wearing the ones I got last winter. I love the aqua color of the thin one and the wine-and-black boucle color of the thicker one. It may be some months before I wear the latter! To me, the olive cocoon-shaped one looks a lot better on in real life. I like it because it feels like comfy workout gear, but it looks good enough to wear out of the house. I also got a cashmere pullover in aqua polka-dots; I am wanting to add more aqua to my wardrobe in the shades that work well for me. Polka dots are not really my thing, but I think it will be a fun change--practically a wild card!</p> <p><b>Shoes</b> are the real investment for me, as usual. I couldn't resist the Donald Pliner moto-style boots, even though I have that style covered already. These are so different, with the patterned leather, and they are a fantastic color for me. They really seem to match my hair. I'm envisioning the Paul Greens as a replacement for another pair of PG booties, the Jano from a few years back. </p> <p>I tried the Louise et Cie ankle-strap flats, but they weren't comfortable enough to keep. I would like to try the Stuart Weitzman pointed-toe flats, but haven't found them in my size yet. Maybe they'll be restocked or some will turn up. If not, c'est la vie. I have plenty of shoes. </p> <p><b>Handbag</b>. I couldn't resist the Rebecca Minkoff backpack. I've been looking for a backpack bag, and I love the style and color of this one. It was an easy decision, despite the fact that it is pretty much a splurge for me. I'm carrying it today. </p> <p><b>Leggings</b>. I love the color and the python pattern of these faux-leather leggings. I think I'll get a lot of good out of them. </p> <p>I tried not to go overboard, but I still ended up getting quite a lot of stuff. Overall I feel I bought for my real life, though.
