I have found the concept useful though, for instance when my leather patch ponte pants died a year or so before finding new ones I really missed them- I bought other ponte pants without leather but didn’t hesitate to get a new leather patch pair when I saw them, and they got over 30 wears last year already.<br /> I really still care about #30 wears because I have taken on board that it’s better for the environment to wear *at least* that many times. And that then helps me not to buy too many fun statements which may not get worn that much.
