So many "black" jeans are washed out to a dark grey.</p> <p>I am delighted with my new superlight puffer from Zella, my Timb look-alike boots, and the silver earrings I have been eyeballing since last June. The jacket and the boots replaced two similar but worn items. I am <b>determined</b> to keep my new purchases under ten items this year.&nbsp; I also bought a teal sweater that I like a lot, but I don't think it will be worn that often. I have a LOT of sweaters. :-)</p> <p>I recognized this year that I do much of my shopping right after Christmas. They look so polished with the tucked in shirt and a solid belt for a workday outfit.</p> <p>I've had soft spring on my mind recently and purchased 6 items in tan and baby blues during Feb. </p> <p>This included: tan barrel jeans, tan with white windowpane check pleated trousers, tan sweater/bomber, tan/blue floral print sweater, tan moto sweater, and baby blue loafers. </p> <p>These items have lots of mix and match potential that I am excited about for spring.</p> <p>The barrel jeans and sweater I've already worn (in this post <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/my-new-barrels">My New Barrels</a>). The trousers are at the tailors and I'm eager to wear them once they are ready (and the weather is warm enough for them). The bomber should pair well with the trousers. Reviews said to size up and that was true for me. They are also labelled as high-waisted but on my short waist they hit just below the belly button, which is ideal to me - more of a higher-midrise I would say. Good, thick quality; I'm impressed as I didn't have high expectations for H&amp;M.</p> <p>Styled for work today with a blue, white, black and taupe striped shirt.&nbsp;</p> <p>Next purchase will probably be something either striped, or pink, for spring (yes, I know - we're not even close here in Canada but hope springs eternal!)</p> <p>Thanks for looking; feel free to share any items you've managed to tick off your list lately! </p>
