I'm sure I shouldn't wear heels and most of the time don't. It all started with ballet and bad genes. I yielded on these shoes because the toe box is pretty roomy, the point not as pointy as would seem, they're platform (thus *in*) but not crazy kardashian tall.</p> <p>I've now taken out the inserts I put in the toe box, so they're comfy again. Cut up the inserts and put them at the heel. That seems to be working. Someone needs to invent socks with a non-skid heel or something... Like that commercial where the mom comes home to find the dad dipping their son's feet in liquid rubber.</p> <p>The oxford's are Jeffrey Campbell. I have been completely failing to post any of my WIW photos. Or of the disaster that the haircut bus haircut turned out to be (well, that was to be expected).</p> <p>Ok. Nevermind. hehe. Bought some shoes at Nordstrom (basic black pumps - platforms of a reasonable height) a few weeks ago. Well, this is a whole story. Tried the 9s, a bit too short; tried the 10s, a bit too long. Then ordered the 9.5s. Right length, but squeezy when they arrived. So I had them stretched. Put them on today and... my socks make them slip right off!! Argh! I have really narrow heels. </p> <p>Put shoe inserts in them... and they are back to being a little squeezy and still in danger of slipping off. I need to be able wear stockings with them!</p> <p>It's too late now, though, I'm keeping them.</p> <p>Anyways... here they are. I took the opportunity to shop NAS when I went to pick the shoes up. It's a fortunate thing I've been reading about Angie in the tents. When I walked in I was all, *where's the NAS stuff?* Then I figured out the tents. Haha!</p> <p>WIB - basic tissue tee, turtle neck tee (liked this because it has interesting seaming on the front), blouse (which I'm wearing today), and wouldn't you know it... another parka! Should I wait to wear the parka? Just 'cuz it's the height of summer, don't think I'm not wearing all my down coats... LOL.</p> <p>Bonus pic of some oxfords I got last month (?) </p>
