Brown is beautiful but I think it's a harder look with brown hair: unless you do a who column of if, the lack of contrast with hair is tricky.&nbsp;I've also recently discovered that my skin has a very pale olive undertone, as well. You might look into that... </p> <p>Posting the Finds that are currently my favorites. That button down looks so blah in the image, but it's the perfect match for my eyes. Hard to see, but the coat has buttons with a similar sharp green detail. My sneaky power color. Instead of trying to brush it out/ blowdry it into submission, my personal style consultant set off a lightbulb in 2019 when she said it must be nice to have hair that I can 'boss around' easily. What she meant was that if I place my hair on top of my head, it stays there (whereas her silky smooth hair would just fall, even with clips in). </p> <p>From there, an idea was born - curls piled on top is now my go-to work look! I thought brown isn’t weird. All my life, my mother had said my eyes were brown. The next time I saw my optometrist, he told me my eyes were light hazel, and that hazel eyes have brown and another color. Well no wonder they looked army green to me! Way back in the 80s, a sales clerk told me to wear earth tones instead of the navy and white I was wearing. Anyway, I’ve been adding olive to my wardrobe too.
