Happy Mother's Day to me!</p> <p>I wanted to find something nice to wear to our 20th wedding anniversary outing next weekend - I was looking for a dressy blouse or something - and ended up finding a few things I really like, so I just went for it and it turned out to be an updated dressy-ish capsule of sorts. Here's what I got:</p> <p>- printed blouse - I love the fit of this, and it's nice and lightweight so I think will work find in summer, and I think the colours will make it year-long-appropriate. Inspired by some of the bold prints Angie has shared recently.<br />- satin skirt - I've had this on my wish list for ages; this one fit well so I got it.&nbsp;<br />- cream dress pants - these pair really nicely with the blouse<br />- shorts - this are dress-up/dress-downable, pair well with the blouse, and are also good for day to day.</p> <p>I feel like all these pieces will be versatile and are relatively classic while still feeling sort of modern/up-to-date. All from Dynamite, which is killing it lately (notwithstanding there are too many crop tops!)</p> <p>Looking forward to styling these new pieces with some of my dressy and casual items to maximize versatility and get lots of use from them.&nbsp;</p> <p>Photos 1 and 2 - the skirt, blouse and pants that came home<br />Photos 3 and 4 - the shorts and dress that did not - liked them both but I decided they were not going to get enough wear and/or fill enough of a need to justify them - fun to try though, especially the matching set!</p> <p>Finds shows the pieces along with some pieces I will wear them with from my current wardrobe.&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for reading! x </p>
