The party was last night. I wore a sparkly tassel necklace and rhinestone bracelets, and carried a simple black clutch (with another tassel!) and a black pashmina, just in case. Despite it being frigid and snowing outside, the hotel bar was definitely kept at cocktail attire appropriate temperatures, and I never needed the wrap. </p> <p>I felt quite appropriately dressed and, as a bonus, my fashion-averse husband let me drag him around the mall to put together an appropriate outfit for him, as well. I'm sad we never made it to the photo booth, but I did snap a few pics before leaving the hotel room. Dress is cocktail and festive. In previous years, I've seen women (mostly a decade younger than me) in tulle skirts and tiaras.</p> <p>I'm planning to wear this burgundy wool skirt with a sequined/embroidered tank I bought for the occasion. I'll probably do bare legs and arms, as it was quite warm in the restaurant last year, and we're staying in the same hotel as the party. Does anyone have suggestions on accessorizing? Should I go bold or subtle with the sparkly top? </p>
