That said, I was size medium and I am normally a small - so, there is definitely a size differential.</p> <p><b>Anne</b> - I love the dress too. It is going to be a good few months before it can make its debut, it is really cold in Perth now! I will post a WIW when I wear it.</p> <p><b>Joy </b>- yes the bag is leather, but you are right that there is quite a bit faux leather in Japan. I was not aware that there was an issue in selling leather products, so that is good to know for future purchases. Are you sure that the bag is leather? DS, who has lived in Tokyo for 10 years, says real leather is very expensive in Japan and there is a high tariff to bring it in. This goes for anything leather. So here are my purchases... with some duty free perfume and cosmetics also bought.</p> <p>When in Tokyo I made a quick run to the luxury department store Takashimaya in Shinjuku (without husband and son) and bought a dress (by a Japanese label called Blue Label Crestbridge - inspired by Burberry) and a cream leather handbag by Samantha Thavasa Delux (also a Japanese label). This store is amazing and is a level of luxury not seen in Australia. Falchon of France in the basement in the food hall, Chanel, LV and Dior shops on the ground floor...it was a beautiful experience just to wander the floors. Of course my purchases were far more humble, but things that I love and will use. Interacting with the Japanese sales assistants was also very fun.</p> <p>The dress is lovely quality and I love the colours and can be hand washed. The handbag is beautiful soft leather - but it is not an everyday bag, because of the colour, I need to be careful not to get it dirty. Given my office job, I can wear it to work with no issues, and I love the gold hardware. I seem to be having a bit of a gold phase at the moment.</p> <p>Because both my son and I love Pokemon when Uniqlo did a range of Japan only t-shirts with graphics from the game 20 years ago - it was on the top of my list of what I wanted to buy in Japan. Because I love it so much, I bought 3 of them. Photo of me wearing one of these t-shirts. I love this graphic because whilst it is Pokemon, to my eye it does not look too childlike.&nbsp;</p>
