DH wears a suit and tie everyday. We spend LOADS on dry cleaning. It's NOT even funny. We'll spend almost $200 per month and even though it's mostly his stuff, since my stuff is so expensive we've paid enough so our dry cleaner can send her kids to college.<br /> Plus ... I've had WAY too much stuff ruined at the cleaners ... The big sign in the window advertising 99-cent shirt laundering is null and void -- they treat a woman's shirt as a "blouse" and will only dry-clean it. I believe this is because women's shirts don't fit in the automatic pressing equipment that they use for men's shirts, so they have to do them by hand.</p> <p>I'm very fond of my cleaners, but I believe Gloria Allred won a case years ago making it illegal to charge women more for essentially the same service.
