I feel like J Crew, Talbots, and AT all cut their dresses for pears. I have several dresses from AT but they are all fit and flare rather than tapered at the bottom. BR used to be a good bet but somehow it's been hit or miss for me for the past couple of years. Awhile back, veteran forum member suggested I try ATL for dresses since they seem to cut better for ITs. And she was right!! I found a couple of fabulous sheath dresses at ATL last winter including a black, sleeveless cowl neck one. Maybe you could try a sheath in a sturdy knit, so that the bust stretches some -- or you might have to make friends with a tailor... I think there are some online vendors that make dresses to your size measurements.
