On the one hand I am really drawn to and excited about modernish draped mainly unstructured looks. On the other I am wanting to hone my pre-YLF formula of jeans and a solid top to perfection in fit an proportion. What I choose for any given day (persona 1 or persona 2) seems to depend on the weather and my mood. I think I have the potential with these pieces to add a little polish to the tomboy, which is perhaps a refinement more than a change ... I'm back to mostly pants&nbsp;these days, but the difference is,&nbsp;I now know how to rock a skirt if I need to or want to. I know what hemlines work, and what shapes, and which shoes and&nbsp;tops work the various kind of skirts. I even know what kinds of belts will work, and where to position them. This skirt knowledge makes me happy, but still, nine days out of ten, I reach for pants. I guess I've made peace with the fact that I prefer to be judged as a man in a woman's body, ha.&nbsp;</p> <p>Also, I've added a few things to the arsenal, like shirts with collars, and wool sweaters. I've accepted the fact that jewellery and me can only have a limited relationship. And I've&nbsp;experimented with all the shapes of jeans, and found a version of each one that works for me -- although which kind I reach for varies with the spirit of the times, I think. (Right now it's boyfriends, of course).</p> <p>So yes, I think I'm with you on this -- I'm settling into a comfortable style, and I feel like it's going to be in a holding pattern for quite a while. But especially since joining YLF,&nbsp;I kind of feel like I "get" the -- for lack of a better word -- rules, and can use them to my benefit, rather than just applying the hit-and-miss approach I used before. </p>
