I'm not sure I can help much. It used to be much more of a routine thing to do. I'm sure a lot has changed now.</p> <p>My recent extraction was because I had some decay under a filling. It was tooth #15, so won't show a gap, so I won't have a crown put in. I've had a couple of other extractions--not fun--and had a post put in so I now have 2 crowns.&nbsp;</p> <p>Dental care like this is so expensive! We are lucky because DH's work supplied us with very good dental care.&nbsp;</p> <p>If I can answer more specific questions I will be glad to do so.
