Perhaps I was more aware of all the VERY rich people from around the world who were in NYC for the event.<br /> I loved Chase Infiniti, Hailey Bieber, Tessa Thompson, Claire Foy, Karlie Kloss, Grace Ling, Sabrina Carpenter, Russell Westbrook.<br /> Gabrielle Union and Venus Williams were standouts.</p> <p>Heidi Klum made me laugh, and Madonna made me roll my eyes out of my head. From what I understand, fashion houses sponsor a lot of tables at the Met Gala and invite celebs to wear their designs.<br /> I loved Chase Infiniti, Emma Chamberlain, and Anne Hathaway - all of them really captured the art theme. I enjoyed some of the wild ones, like Madonna and Sam Smith. And Janelle Monae! We recently had an amazing Christian Siriano exhibit at one of our local museums where you could see his designs up close. There are some interesting interpretations of the theme, but a lot of them seem to be designed more for shock value than actual creativity.</p> <p>That said, I thought Beyoncé’s skeleton dress was pretty fantastic. I thought it fit the theme and balanced art and fashion the most effectively of all the looks of the night that I saw. I'm not sure I can help much. It used to be much more of a routine thing to do. I'm sure a lot has changed now.</p> <p>My recent extraction was because I had some decay under a filling. It was tooth #15, so won't show a gap, so I won't have a crown put in. I've had a couple of other extractions--not fun--and had a post put in so I now have 2 crowns.&nbsp;</p> <p>Dental care like this is so expensive! We are lucky because DH's work supplied us with very good dental care.&nbsp;</p> <p>If I can answer more specific questions I will be glad to do so.
