I would say that the "wear cooler colors" advice helped me understand why certain browns don't work for me, rather than establishing a dictum that I feel compelled to follow. A reddish barnyard brown isn't great on me, whereas a deep chocolate is fine. Lightbulb! It silk and wool, but it feels like cashmere. Extremely soft and cozy. It's too warm a brown for me and is going back, but someone with reddish hair and brown eyes would look magnificent in this! </p>
