One evening I needed to run an errand really quick and didn' t feel like getting socks and her uggs were right by the door so I slipped them on( her feet are bigger than mine) and ran out to the car.... I couldn' believe how warm and comfy I felt.From then on I understood why people wear them- but still didn't want to spend this much money ( in Germany they are very pricey!) on such an ugly shoe... Well a couple of month ago I got them on sale( still 160€) and LOVE them. I wear them on my way to the gym,or running errands,usually paired with skinny jeans or work out wear when on my way to gym. I love that I can just slip them on without socks. So they are marginally better. Frankly I don't like them because I feel like the sole isn't substantial for wear. Also NO arch support.&nbsp;They're not even good for commuting.&nbsp;<br />The kicker is when Ugg does a real shoe they're great. But they have cheaped out lately. I literally wore to death a pair of fully shearling lined waterproof lugg soled ankle boots. Last year I awoke on Christmas morning to find eight pairs of Bearpaw boots under the Christmas tree. Seriously, eight pairs! DH said, "I heard these are fashionable so I knew you would like them." Turns out he had purchased a multitude of sizes and colors and told me, "You can keep them all if they fit." Fortunately, they didn't fit - well, seven pairs didn't fit. One pair did, so I kept those and I've worn&nbsp;them with skinny jeans. I never did have the heart to tell DH that I don't really care for them. He was so excited and had spent so much time ordering them, and he was so disappointed when I tried them all on and they didn't fit. ONLY in the house&nbsp;though. Since we moved to a new place with hardwood floors, I needed something warmer and more substantial than my old socks with grippy bits on the bottom. My whole ankles and calves get cold easily too, so this was a perfect solution. </p> <p>But I have never once worn them &nbsp;out&nbsp;anywhere. If I feel tempted, I give myself a stern lecture along the lines of, "Oh, so you think it might be OK to wear those to the store, do you? Well then why don't you just wear your pajams pants out too, like all those other people do? And at that point, why bother combing your hair?" LOL.
