But I fear my holiday-ish pieces are not really very staying-in-and-living-with-big-energetic-dogs friendly. My go-to for sort of stepped-up casual holiday glam has been the navy blue sequin top with bell sleeves, but that’s been in holiday rotation for a few years now and I’ll probably be tired of seeing photos of myself in it after another holiday, LOL. Plus it is not practical for wearing at home if I will do anything in the kitchen. I also default to that green printed Zara wrap blouse, as it is a favorite. But I wish I had a beautiful metallic lightweight sweater of some kind. That would be a nice versatile piece — not too dressy. But there’s always something not quite right in those — too gold for my skin tone, or scratchy, or a bad neckline... maybe I should add that to my sweater search.</p> <p>Bummed that the blue sequin blazer I got last winter will have to wait for another year to get an outing.
