Gorgeous dress, love a moody florals and patterned stockings&nbsp; are cool with it- not only for achieving the maximal/girly look you wanted. I find the dress a bit on the shortish side but you have great legs of course- so, you really can wear the length if comfortable with but&nbsp; patterned hose add more shade to the legs- more than&nbsp; simple sheers (even if black) but less than black opaques. They also add more texture which&nbsp; can&nbsp; roughen a bit the legs (sheers would feel to delicate?) so I imagine you feel&nbsp; more covered and supported in these, especially&nbsp; for wearing the booties. To create that juxtaposition you could swap out the footwear for a pair of stompy boots perhaps.</p> <p>I understand what others were saying in your other thread about your long, natural hair and unadorned face and nails being a variety of RATE. Those elements don't really stand out to me as creating contrast/juxtaposition here though. Possibly that is idiosyncratic (I wear my hair in a similar style, wear minimal makeup, and don't generally wear nail polish, so I just see...a face, rather than a particular kind of face, if that makes sense). But also I think that the contrast those elements create is more like polished vs. relaxed -- I do see that in this outfit, but the overall effect is one of balance rather than contrast. And it seems like you are aiming more for a sweet/tough contrast. To do that I think you need an element that is more obviously "tough" -- natural hair/no makeup doesn't convey "tough" to me exactly.
