I was ordering too many things that weren't quite right and then having to send them straight to the charity shop. I also felt like I was doing nothing but trawling the shops and websites and coming up with stuff that was merely okay. I've got enough autumn/winter/cold spring wear to be getting on with (not as much as I'd like, but enough to see me through), so I'm taking a shopping break until 29th April when I can start looking at sundresses and sandals. I hear ya on more responsibilities, less money for fun though. We have a lot going on too, double mortgage payments, 2 starting daycare in a couple months, and then there's always the odd "surprise" thrown in. We get extras here and there though, and then I usually get to have a bit of shopping fun. I need to take a shopping break. My budget tells me I need to find money for orthodontic work for 2 of my sons... add a bathroom onto the house... redo a couple of rooms... insulate and dry wall hubby's shop... you get the idea. My spring and summer wardrobe is in decent shape already and summer is our least dominant season here in the Great North Wet, so now is a bad time for me to shop anyway. </p> <p>I'm not sure how long it will last. I'm betting I'll get back to shopping my budget by fall.</p> <p>Please tell me I'm not alone. </p>
