				<description>&#060;p&#062;I've done some minor work myself, by hand. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I don't think it's a difference, especially with sleeve length. It would require a leather needle for their sewing machine and with leather there's no turning back. As with several fabrics, every stitch shows and the holes created thereby are permanent. So the trick would be to find someone who can get it right the first time.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I'm a proud lemming owner of the Spiegel jacket and quite happy with the purchase. &#038;nbsp;The only thing holding it back from perfection is the length of the sleeves. &#038;nbsp;I didn't really notice how long they look until I tried to snap a picture. &#038;nbsp;I like the jacket enough to invest in the sleeve shortening alteration, but I'm nervous about having the jacket ruined. &#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Does your regular tailor do leather alterations? &#038;nbsp;I normally have my alterations done at the dry cleaner who I believe just sends them out. &#038;nbsp;Should I search out someone who specializes in leather? &#038;nbsp;How much should I expect this to cost?
