But as my hair has grayed and my eyebrows lightened I've started using a tinted brow gel from eyebrowz. Luckily it came off! But my brows are not heavy and it wasn't high contrast with my darker skin. Some of them look great, but some of them look dreadful. If it is microblading, so much has to do with the skill of the practitioner. A slightly wrong color or too heavy a hand can easily change Ernie (no eyebrows) to Bert (unibrow).</p> <p>Additionally, microblading, if it is done properly, is supposed to sit in the epidermis, so it should fade over time. Most microblading won't be more than a shadow after about two years. Still, people are often talked into going darker or with more coverage than they had planned because they're told it will fade. Nevermind that they might look like they Sharpied their eyebrows until then.</p> <p>Either way, ou're a good friend for not mentioning it. It got MUCH darker than this before it lightened. You might have seen her the day after she had them done , in which case they can look somewhat dark and agressive .
