Easy and elegant.&nbsp;</p> <p>My main summer formula is something blue with something white, or something blue and white. With silver or bright accessories/ footwear. I think I rely more on favourite outfit combinations than general formulas (apart from colour). For instance, I often wear a specific top with specific bottoms. More in summer than in fall/ winter, where I think formulas are more common for me. The white isn't too bright, and I like the v-neck and boho details. I decided to fool around with some summer denim options to pair it with:</p> <p>1) Thrifted Denim Skirt, found at a local thrift shop last year, love the A-line and the contrasting white stitching. Bonus, it has pockets, too.</p> <p>2) Jorts recently bought on sale at RW &amp; Co. This is my second pair of jorts this season, I was after adding a lighter wash, and these fit the bill.</p> <p>3) Linen blend cropped wide-leg pants. Okay, not actually denim, but they do have that denim chambray coloring and are great for the ridiculously hot weather we've been having.</p> <p>I went with a simple beigy-tan flat sandal in all 3 versions as well. I find this such a simple and classic formula to wear, and It can easily be adapted when the fall weather arrives, too.</p> <p>Do you rely on any simple formulas when creating your outfits? </p>
