I also have trouble with any kind of loafer or pump -- everything slides off my heels (skinny heels, I suppose), and my feet are fairly low volume and slightly narrow, so mules are often just plain too roomy to stay on my feet. However, so far these seem to be OK. Black is an easy default for me, but I decided to try the light ones instead, as they seem a bit more on-trend and also low-contrast with my legs as I start to wear more cropped and rolled pants in spring. </p> <p>They seem to stay on my foot well, and I think they’ll be wearable as a nice spring-into-summer shoe that is casual enough but elevates a look a bit more than sneakers. I don’t typically spend much on shoulder-season footwear because those seasons are short here, and I tend to go towards either boots or sandals with not much in between. So the sale price of $60 is quite appealing.</p> <p>I’ll try them on today around the house and report back later. I did order these other slingback flats (Amalfi Gelso) to try, so I should have those in a couple of days. </p>
