Because of this, I have to be able to take my glasses off &amp; put them back on again throughout the day, since they give me a headache if I wear them when I don't need them. That would be too much of a pain to do with contact lenses!</p> <p>Thank you - I like the slight textural interest that the grooves at the top corners give over just solid black! I do hop down to the island occasionally for good food &amp; when I need English speaking services, but otherwise I'm mainly in Kowloon. I bought these at the opticians, &amp; opted for the darkest, blackest prescription lens they could do (which answers @Joy's question, I suppose, that the type of lens will heavily depend on what your opticians can do. Mine do a graduated style &amp; brown lenses, but I asked them to dip these lenses for longer to get a pure black, opaque look. These are therefore Grade 3 &amp; not suitable for driving. They have other colours (like black), but I chose the white in the end because of the striking contrast.
