And a woman in a shoe-shop was intrigued and said "hang on, cut off your legs?-what do you mean?" I think I must have read something in a fashion magazine. But I could see myself that there was something off about some of my winter shoes or booties at the time, they seemed leg stumpifying. I now understand that they had a very high vamp. I feel there is an element of that happening here. I think if you understand that you can make your choice. I find these a bit heavy for my personal taste for summer. I especially like 1 and 7 here. The sandals are a great color and bookend your hair nicely, and I like your matching the belt in 5 and 6--also very good looks, to me. I also like #2. I think the only one that makes me hesitate is 4. I hear you on the ambivalence about this style, because I feel the same way about my new sandal-booties (the Munros below in Finds). For me, I find I like them better with darker outfits.
