Shiny, thanks for the tip on the Loft tall jeans. I'm tall, too, and I just ordered a couple of pairs of the curvy fit in white -- and they were 50% off with free shipping today. There's a Loft store near me where I can return them for free if I don't like them or they don't fit. So it's a no-risk trial.

Ditto to Laura about Lucky Brand. I haven't seen their white jeans yet, but I'm really happy with the blue Lolita bootcuts I got from there -- I need a tall for the long inseam (I then had to hem a little) and I have big thighs, which their jeans accommodate pretty well.

I agree with shiny. I am 58, tall and curvy. I have a larger deirreire for my build. I have found the redesigned Loft pants fit me well. You can order Tall off their website, I believe

I hate shorts and yet, I just bought Loft shorts (mail Order) in Curvy. The SA had me size down and they were the BEST fitting shorts I have ever had. I bought two pair.

I would like to wear the "cool" brands, but at my age, I am all about the fit !!

My best white jeans are Old Navy Sweetheart. I had the waist altered and they fit me perfectly. Before I bought these, I tried on tens of pants just like you. Very frustrating. And a bit depressing.

How frustrating to try on so many jeans without success! I'm really glad you started this thread and am also going to try some of the recommendations. Here's hoping we both find our white jeans soon.

I have had good luck at BR and Loft. They are both made in a thick fabric with minimal show through.

Lucky Brand is another good place to look. They've got several cuts aimed at the curvier figure - I've had good luck with the Sofia and Lolita and the Sweet Jean - and their regular inseam is 32" ish, with taller available online. They always seem to have white jeans with nice sturdy non see through denim each summer.

Thanks for all the suggestions. For some reason the Kut Catherine Jeans do not fit me but I did not try the Diana Skinny. I ended up having Nordstrom order a pair of the Kut Flared jeans since they didn't have my size. I would really like a relaxed skinny jean so I will try some of the other suggestions. I brought home a pair of Hudson Jeans to try with some tops. I like the fit but I'm not in love with the back pockets. I'm going to check Gap, J Crew and Loft. Thanks!

I'd give LOFT a try. Their jeans have been working great for me lately, but more importantly, they offer tall lengths online:

http://www.loft.com/tall-curvy.....2&

There are more styles if you go to the site and click on "Tall."

What style are you looking for? The AG stilts are excellent slim straight legs. I have been wearing those for years and continue to love them.

Then theres the Reid and Toothpicks at J.Crew. Also generally a good fit with with either a low or high rise.

The KUT Catherines are great in white. I have 3 pairs of those. The KUT Mia skinnies are good too.

Then there are all sorts of flares which I haven't tried yet - but will.

I'm tall with some curves and 54 years. If you live in Canada, Marks Work Warehouse makes a Denver Hayes - Hanna fit white Jean that I quite like. It has a higher rise that works for my tummy, but means I can't do semi-tuck styling very well.

Levi's has some white jeans (on sale).

Have you tried Loft or Ann Taylor? I usually have good luck with their curvy cuts. Talls are only sold online, although you might get lucky with a return on the clearance rack, or you could at least check the regulars for fit. I know that Loft has several white jeans right now.

The Kut Catherine's don't work for me for some reason but several of the other cuts do. They've got more selection on their own website than at Nordstrom's, for example.

What style of Kuts did you try on? Many people here really like the Kut Catherine BF jean and it does come in white. It is a slimmer fitting BF, not too baggy.

I am in my 50s and I also really like the Kut Diana skinny (I have it in white). I am a slim hourglass shape, not super curvy but I do have thighs and a bum. This jean is not a super skinny. There is room in the calves.

I also like a pair of GAP straight jeans in white. I sized UP in those to get a slightly looser fit. Often people find that sizing up in white pants helps a lot.

I just spent the morning shopping for white jeans. I tried on at least 15 pairs, at all price points. I tried on Eileen Fisher, Hudson, Kut, Chicos, Ralph Lauren, DNKY and many other brands. Finding a pair of well fitting pants seems almost impossible. I'm curvy but fairly tall. Ankle jeans usually are way too short. I don't want boyfriend jeans and I don't want skinnies. It's the same frustration every time I shop for pants. Brands continually change their sizing and I can't find a brand that consistently fits me. I'm in my late 50's and want to wear something that is stylish but I fell like most jeans are designed for much younger women. I own a pair of Joes Jeans in Honey Curvy fit but they don't make them in white. Does anyone have white jeans that are a bit relaxed that they like?
