Fabulous! First of all, you nailed the proportions and look divine in all the jacket combinations. Also - what a stunning collection of jackets! And they all fit you very well!

My personal favourite is the plum jacket look. I love how your gorgeous bag has become the 'hero' of all outfits, and it definitely deserves to be the star! I would love to see you use this bag more often too.

Ps: I tend to save my nice things too, and I know just how silly it makes you feel sometimes!

Hi all, thanks so much for the boost and for the input on the jacket issue. It is so interesting getting different views.

Deborah, you are right. I should use that bag! I have a tendency to save my "nice" things. It is a bit silly. I look forward to seeing your version with the animal print boots. I have a great weakness for animal print.

Meredith and Kiwigal - your suggestions about the green jacket made me realise I have no black winter tops, no navy tops and only one grey top (which I do wear with the green jacket!). Mostly I have white. As I mentioned on a thread Deborah started recently I think I have a tendency just to buy things I like without thinking about wardrobe co-ordination/cohesion. I think I need some more basics to pull my items together. I also like the idea about teaming it with purply plum.

Smittie - I know what you mean about preferring the heeled shoes with the jacket. I think I would generally go for heels too - provided I was not planning to walk too far!

Viva - I love military styling, as well as animal print, so that look does tick a couple of boxes for me.

You have a wonderful wardrobe!

I love the plum and brown jackets with the look, they are both terrific with the plum moto being more casual/ night time to me and the tan one being a little more polished.

I do love the green jacket but to my eye it skews slightly cool and the other tones work better with the cream and animal print. I would love the green jacket over a dark grey, black or navy top with the jeans and boots, with maybe a different bag? It is a stunning colour with your hair.

You have fabulous style. It's a great version of Angie's ensemble. I love all three jackets and they all work really. I find it tricky to pick a favourite. That is a fabulous bag!

I love the bag as the centerpiece here -- it works in all the iterations. My favorite is the Jigsaw jacket. I love the tonality of the overall look, and the military styling of that jacket is just amazing.

They're all great!
My preference is for the plum leather and grey boots, but that's just a pure taste preference for the feminine-shoes-plus-leather- jacket combo.
I like the green jacket on you.

All of these looks are gorgeous. You have such beautiful clothes! I think I prefer the plum jacket, but the others are also good. I suspect the tan feels more polished because a peacoat is inherently more polished than a moto jacket. Have you tried styling the green jacket with a deeper shade on top for a lower contrast look? Like dark gray a purply plum or cranberry or even black?

Love seeing a winter version of Angie's ensemble. I have been thinking how I might do the same. I have black and white animal print ankle boots that done get enough wear;). That bag is gorgeous and I'd love to see you use it more. It's subtle and tasteful, modern and elegant:). Each combo works very nicely but I'm partial to the green jacket version. It's very classy.

Hi all. Angie's ensemble post got me thinking about an animal print bag my husband gave me for Xmas that I have never worn. I have all the essential components for this look - animal print bag, grey jeans and an embarrassing number of white tops - so I thought I would play around with it.

It is winter in the land of the southern cross so I wont be doing a summer version for some time yet. And the jeans are probably more mid grey than light grey, but it's in the same ball park.

Pic 1: Pepe jeans (from ASOS), Urban Outfitters top, Luxury Rebel boots, Vanessa Mooney necklace and Furla bag.

Pics 2-5 feature different toppers. I would love input here as I am striking out into "not approved by Angie" territory.

Pic 2: Gestuz plum jacket from ASOS.

Pic 3: Same jacket but Steve Madden boots.

Pic 4: Tan Jigsaw jacket.

Pic 5: Green Marcs jacket.

I favour the Gestuz jacket because it is my current closet crush. I think maybe it works better with the Steve Madden boots in 3. But the tan jacket might work better with the bag. More polished? I am not sure about the green jacket. I threw it in because it is proving to be a bit of a closet orphan and I would like to find it some friends. I love green but I find it hard to style.

Any comments, suggestions, statements of preference appreciated.
