Given that the size up was too big, you may want to just try a different pair of the smaller size. I find that 2 pairs of the same size jeans can often fit very differently! I think this is generally because they will cut the pattern using a stack of material, so the denim on the top of the pile, or the bottom, can end up being just slightly different in size. I ordered my usual size Paige Hidden Hills in white, and they were so tight I couldn't even zip them! Had to return for the next size up, which are too big. I'm thinking of keeping them and having them taken in.....but so far I haven't had the courage to take off the tags.</p> <p>Have others had this experience with white denim sizing? Do they tend to run small? Do they stretch out less or more than regular denim? </p>
