(Gucci tends to run wide and big). The Gucci is more special to my eye, but less versatile to style in an outfit because of the band. Looking ahead to spring, I had been thinking of duplicating my green suede Acne Jensen booties in white, but then it occurred to me that since, realistically, I am mostly wearing weatherproof, shearling lined boots these days, white loafers or backless loafers in the Gucci slide mode might be an interesting option -- in May, once it gets warm. I know that's a few months ahead but nonetheless, what do you think? </p>
