Love nr. 1 and 2 for the white jeans. Nr.3 is more appealing to me to wear with skirts.

Just looks wise I prefer #2, but obviously not if they aren't comfortable. Love the TB shoes and consider them an excellent argument for buying great quality second hand rather than lower quality retail.

Thanks everyone :)

I tried #2 again but it really does pinch my toes, and they only offer full sizes, not half sizes if I want to size up. I'm thinking that mostly I'll wear my b/w oxfords (attached) if it's actually warm enough for bare legs, as I did last summer.

My goal for a white boot was something that would give more coverage up too and around the ankle for warmth, which I pretty much appreciate on cool rainy days throughout the year. My ankle covering black boots get worn year round, but I wanted something in a very pale neutral to give more options. So I'm holding onto #3 for now which is much more comfortable and takes an insole, though not ready to take the tags off yet.

Deborah I like #1 too, it has all the versatility of animal print shoe but still reads black and white. I would need to try a full size up though, still thinking about it.

These are all really good looking! I like the boots in 3 although I do think they might be less versatile for spring/ summer (with bare legs, as Angie mentioned, the shorter ones seem better). Love the lace ups, too, and the Tory B. pumps and the hose are fabulous! (So is kitty).

These are all really terrific! I agree with Angie - both #2 and #3 look great, but in different ways.

I love the Target shoes, too. Like you, I need to figure out what color I need the most for the spring/summer.

I like 2 best and I think Angie makes a great point about the bare leg test.

I want those target lace ups, though!! So gorgeous! I may have to try to find those near me.

And love the TBs with those tights (and your kitty).

They all look good!! I find I am very drawn to #1. I am not sure if I am simply reflecting my own preference, but I do think the black and white of the animal print potentially bookends best with your hair and will create a more cohesive look with your outfits.

I like #3 best from the front, but #2 best on bare legs. Going into Spring and Summer, I think #2.

The Tory Burch pumps are GORGEOUS. Work well with the tights. Pinky toe has been rescued.

White or pale booties were next up on my long-term wish list. I wasn't sure about leather versus faux, but I have a faux leather white bag that is much easier to keep clean than a soft pale gray leather one I have, so leaned that way, also because of price.

Asos Astronomical snake ankle boots - on the website video they looked really large so I ordered a size down. This fit quite well at the ankle and all of the foot except pinched my shorter toes (not the big toe). I thought that a whole size up (my regular size) might end up being too large. I liked the pattern, it's crisp, interestingly pale in the front and darker in the back, and there is a subtle snake texture to the PU. The zipper is a dulled pewter. All in all if the fit was right these would have been thumbs up. Trying to decide whether it's worth trying a larger size.

Asos truffle zip front ankle boots - the PU is a smooth almost patent finish, bright white, zippers and zipper tabs are attractive and worked easily. Lug sole is a bonus for keeping the white part of the shoe further away from puddles. No flower pot. Didn't work for me because the top of the shoe just hit below the narrow part of my narrow ankles, so it looked a little unbalanced with tights or bare legs to my eyes. Also again (even though this was my size) there was a tiny bit of pinching in the smaller toes, and the shoe right there is a stiff reinforced curve, no give.

Asos new look ankle boots - a slightly textured PU, bright white. comfortable with room for my usual boot insole. More gap behind the ankle than the other boots, but the black elastic band at the top diminishes it visually. Didn't feel or look significantly flower-pot to my eye. It's got that mix of a narrow ankle profile from the front and a wider one from the side which makes it difficult to tuck in jeans, but if they are rolled or stop right at the top (which mine do), it works out. Only thing I didn't really like is the zipper, it's an industrial pewter and was very stiff, it got a little easier to unzip with testing but I was half afraid it would just get stuck. Still the best of the bunch in terms of fit and I'm holding on to it for now.

Asos black gladiator sandals - didn't include a picture, when I wore them they looked like the stock photo on - pretty cute. However although they are listed as leather, it's a stiff, inflexible kind that looks like PU, also the footbed/sole was basically a single piece of flat stiff plastic, not comfortable, and didn't seem durable. I have older black gladiators that are wearing out and these wouldn't have been an upgrade so I passed.

Target Nara flats - This was mainly a test run since I liked the look of several Asos faux suede/leather flats but this was at a lower price point, and looked like it had more toe coverage toward the outside of the foot - my problem area. Surprisingly, it seemed well made, the faux suede was soft and the lining of the straps was neat and smooth, no rough/sharp edges. Slight padding in the footbed was nice too. The color is much brighter, more of a suede hot pink/fuchsia than the dusty rose of the stock photo. They zip up the back but you can adjust the ties in the front (in the photo I need to tie them tighter at the top). I like and will hold onto for now -- still trying to decide if a laceup sandal in blush, silver/white, or orange would work better with more of my wardrobe. Although this pairs with my favorite lipstick and with patterned shirts, neutrals, and a fuchsia waterfall blouse.

Bonus WIW with the tory burch pumps: from http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-cooperate These are rarely worn silvery Victorian wallpaper tights, but one of my few paler colored tights so I thought they'd show up better in the photo against the shoes. Paired with favorite furry bag and navy. These shoes do work with tights (or judicious band-aid plus nude knee-highs with jeans) but I'm not sure how long I will hold onto them. They are lined with soft leather so they might get a little better fitting around my left pinky toe with more wears though.

Which white boots look best to your eye? See anything I missed? Anywhere else I should look?
