Can't be sure it's exactly the same, but close. I got it in a little shop in Berkeley when visiting family last year. I went for a walk one afternoon by myself, which is pretty much unheard of since usually there's a small boy or two trailing me. Came back with this hat and everyone loved it, especially me. I have a large head so was pleased to find one that fit well. It's holding up well. This one is just for casual gardening/strolling around use. I wear it in the pool all the time and it doesn't feel hot at all here in the Texas heat. I don't wear it under water but it does get wet. </p> <p>That said, I have very light hair and a light hat just feels a bit washed out on me so I haven't even tried comparing the two colors in terms of the heat. My current sunhat is a cotton canvas, reversible, with natural on one side and tan on the other. So, similar to the lighter option but a solid colour and not variegated. The darker colour is closer to my hair colour, maybe not as summery, but I like that it's a bit unexpected. I've only ever had mid and darker browns for winter hats. What say you, YLF?&nbsp; </p>
