I love the sharper fit and the color is really an excellent contrast, and matches the darker color in the skirt. </p> <p>I LOVE utility jackets, safari jackets, even more than blazers. Both jackets are very similar. That being said I would pick the short jacket for your trip. It makes your skirt outfit look super cute &amp; very pulled together. I see you wearing the skirt many times on your trip with multiple t shirts(olive, gold, purple--any color in that skirt). The pants are very nice and can be worn in multiple seasons. The skirt can only be worn in warm weather. It is currently 11 degrees outside my window. I would love to wear your skirt, shirt and jacket but alas I'll have to wait about 5 months for the weather to change.
