Would these other Uggs be a possibility if the Elvias are too tall?

You and I live in the same city, so I completely understand the need for winter boots that have function besides style. Last winter my boots developed leaks, so I'm in the market for a new pair and have the UGG Elvias on order in black. The slate look beautiful online, but black will coordinate better with my winter outerwear.

All of your finds look nice; good luck with the decision!

I am not familiar with pajar.

I also live in a snowy climate, and I can highly recommend LL Bean boots. No, not on sale, but they'll run a 15% off at labor day.

I also really like my Sorrels, but they have no heel, and warm and fuzzy, and have great traction. I've gotten a lot of years of wear out of them.

NAS might be a bit early for snow boots, but I applaud you for trying!

I live in a snowy climate and I often like to "up my game" in the snow boot department during NAS. I have a pair of Sorel wedges from the sale a couple years ago that I love, so I jumped at the chance to order their new "After Hours" boot. Turns out I was able to see them in person last weekend and didn't care for the color. They are much more gray in person than olive, and my primary winter coat is a Canada Goose military olive with coyote hood and black lining.

So, while the Sorels are on their way to me (likely to be returned), I'm researching other options. The Pajars look warm and utilitarian but I haven't tried them personally and don't know whether to go for the taller or shorter ones. I'm also curious about the UGG "Elvia" but haven't seen them in person to know whether the Slate or Black would be a better color match. Also, at 5'1, if it might be too long in the shaft for me. I'm also open to other options totally.

Seeking any and all advice about what to try next, preferably before the Early Access is done. Thanks!
